John 16:13-15 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine…
There are the things that Holy Spirit had been doing ever since He arrived on earth 2000 years ago on Pentecost day. And despite the changes of the timing with the roman calendar versus the Jewish calendar, we know that we are well into the 3rd day or the 3rd millennium since Jesus walked the earth. It is like very very early in the morning, but not early in the morning yet of the 3rd day.
Jn 20:1 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb…
That is the period we are in early in the 3rd millennium – while it was still dark, before the earthquake hit as the angel rolled away the stone (Mt 28:2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.) Likewise it is just before …a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed…. (Rev 16:18-19)
We are at the period when Magdalene had arisen or about to awaken and was getting ready to leave the house to go to the tomb. That is our equivalent reference. And the beast and the false prophet has not yet been revealed. This arising of Mary Magdalene as she did in the natural on the 3rd day is occurring in the spiritual and has occurred here, as we have been led by the Holy Spirit to do our definitive study on her this year and restored her status as the Mary who is to be mentioned at the preaching of the gospel. The fact that Mary of Bethany and Mary Magdalene are one and the same, lies in what Jesus said of John the Baptist – he is the Elijah that was to come, if you had taken it.
Just as those who could not accept the Elijah (Mal 4:6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse) that was to come was John the Baptist and Elijah himself did also turn up, could not accept the Ministry of Jesus. So now, those who cannot accept Mary of Bethany is the same Mary of Magdalene, will be unable to accept the Ministry of the Holy Spirit in those last days. For when the church is listening to the Holy Spirit, He will start reminding us of all that Jesus has said. And such a church will quickly realise that many of its traditions goes against what Jesus taught.
The church that repents as the Holy Spirit reminds will be that part of the church that will continue with the work of the Kingdom. The parts of the church that value its traditions more than what Jesus has said will be retired. It will …stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time. (Dan 11:35) Remember that the arrival of Jesus over Jerusalem is not the end but the beginning of this Millennial Reign, the end of all things of this present heaven and earth is yet to come at the end of the millennium.
So you will see a separation now between those who will listen to the Holy Spirit as He prepares His final instructions and those who value the traditions of men more than the Word of God. Those who have ears will listen. Those who will not listen will not remain and we are called to be witnesses of such things. So do not grief at the stumbling of those who are wise, for it is meant that they may be refined, purified and made spotless, ready for the end – judgement day at the second resurrection. However, those who will listen to the Holy Spirit and have through continuous repentance with excessive submissiveness to the Word of Jesus will now begin to hear the things that Jesus said were …much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. (Jn 16:12)
Because the “more than you can now bear” is not written. It is also a time for false prophets to arise with signs, wonders and miracles to deceive the very elect if that were possible. And there is no longer the luxury of time to test their fruits as Jesus said but it is time to test by the Word of God which is fire and hammer. The fire that no longer comes out of heaven but comes out of us who have the Word in us, locked up like a fire. A fire that comes out of our mouths to destroy all who oppose it. Unlike Elijah who called fire out of heaven to prove that God is God to the Israelites and also to prove that he is a man of God
2 Kings 1:10 …If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!...
So we will release the Word of God out of us like fire. Fire that will bless those who are for us and destroy those who are against us. And like Elijah, we can and will say, “If I am an elect of the Holy Spirit, may fire come out of me to bless you if you are for me and to destroy you if you are against me.”
Rev 11:5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.
The confession is no longer “if you are for Jesus” or “for God”, but “for me”. For those who have been and will be given the power of God to do this will have become so one with Jesus that the words of the Lord:
Jn 13:20 I tell you the truth, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
And again in Lk 10:16 …he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.
Jn 3:36 …whoever rejects the Son will not see life…
If that is the case then what is the fate of those who do not receive? Accept and reject the one sent by the Father as a gift, of whom the Lord Jesus Himself said:
Mt 12:31-32 And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven… but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
In the mercy of God to prevent those who will not listen to the Holy Spirit as Jesus commanded in Rev 2-3 seven times, that is those churches and even denominations, they will be returned home to heaven. Either by rapture or according to their faith, raptured, before the days of distress unequaled since the beginning of this world begins. They are saved for the second resurrection.
Now what is speaking against the Holy Spirit? What does it mean? For Jesus said:
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (Jn 16:13)
Since the Holy Spirit does not speak on His own, one cannot speak against the Holy Spirit. For if you speak against what the Holy Spirit is saying, you are merely speaking against what Jesus and the Father is speaking and that can be forgiven. Indeed when the apostle James the younger is Acts 15 made his judgement that we Gentiles should abstain from drinking blood, James the younger had only spoken against what Jesus had spoken:
Jn 6:53 I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
James the younger did not speak against the Holy Spirit, so he was forgiven except his teachings led to a scattering in the church. As Paul had to correct peter to his face in Gal 2:11-12 (When Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong. Before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group.) where Paul put Peter's behavior squarely as being the fault of “certain men came from James”.
The reason that Jesus hates the practices of the Nicolaitans and demands that the church in Pergamum repent of holding on to the teachings of the Nicolaitans. Otherwise He Himself would fight them with the sword of His mouth.
Rev 2:15-16 Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
This is because the Judaism teachings of Nicolas who was a convert to Judaism negated the work of the Holy Spirit by whose power conceived Jesus in the womb of Mary, a woman. And by whose same power raised Jesus from the dead even though He had been hung on a tree as a cursed one.
1 Pet 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
Dt 21:23 …because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse…
(The Romans may well have devised crucifixion. Not as a cruel punishment but they crucified the Jews because for a Jew to be hung on a tree was to be under God’s curse. It was a political and religious weapon aimed at the religious heart of the Jesus to subjugate them completely if they understood this of Dt 21:23)
So why did Jesus say “anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit” when He also said “He will not speak on His own”? Unless there will come a time when the Holy Spirit will speak on His own. That is He will not speak what He heard from the Father and the Son, but there is coming and has now come when the Holy Spirit will speak of His own heart and mind. A time that the Father had been preparing for when He began to seek out …worshipers who had worship the Father in spirit and truth… (Jn 4:23)
Jn 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.
A group who worships God the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name as they had worshipped the Father in Jesus’ name.
A group who having been trained to listen until they know the voice of the Holy Spirit so that to such a group the Holy Spirit can speak on His own. Now when the Holy Spirit begins to speak on His own then it will become possible to speak against the Holy Spirit. And so the unforgivable sin will become manifest and its victim will be the false prophet and his cohort the beast.
Dan 11:36 The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods…
If when He first came, He did not speak on His own, what will the Holy Spirit do just before He leaves? It is to speak on His own. For once the Holy Spirit will reveal Himself in a manner rarely revealed before. He will speak of His own and speak continuously. Whereas in the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit spoke a few times as was credited to Him. He would still have been speaking what He heard spoken in the heavens. But now in the silence that will come over heaven at the opening of the 7th seal…
Rev 8:1 When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
The silence in heaven means that the Father and Son have stopped speaking and there is nothing for the Holy Spirit to hear. Now for the first time will the Holy Spirit speak on His own and of His own, whilst heaven listens in silence, for the Silent One will now speak. He who has been going the will of the Father. The One who listens perfectly to the Father and Son. He who has always been the Unseen One. Yet the One who is the Spirit of Power, Knowledge, Understanding. Who searches the heart and mind of God. He who has always been working to bring glory to the Father and Jesus. Now is His time to speak. And even the Father and Son hold themselves in silence as does all of heaven. Little wonder that anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. Not in this age or the next.
The half hour tells us it is for a short time. The time when He the Lord has finished choosing His elect for whose sake the days of distress will be shortened between now and when He leaves.
Mk 13:20 If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.
And what will He say?
Being who He is by nature the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin (Ex 34:6-7)
He will have compassion on those whom He will have compassion and so…
Isa 57:1-2 …devout men are taken away… the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
Those who are afraid and not strong enough for the days of evil, He will take home. So in the half hour of silence, we will witness a dying time of the devout and the righteous by faith. And so that we understand, we do not grieve but rejoice at the graciousness and compassion of our God, even as we weep and are comforted.
2000 years of putting up with the church that will not listen to Him is truly slowness to anger. But nevertheless, we will also see the anger of the Holy Spirit now unleashed on the church that has steadfastly refused to listen to Him and have produced a religious institution where pedophiles find shelter, the blind remain blind and the sick are unhealed and it has become the haven of demons and evil spirits and everything unclean. Anger that will shatter the bondages and walls so that the people of God can come out of her and not share in her plagues.
Those who still steadfastly refuse to listen will be brought to repentance in the way they have chosen, as they suffer the consequences of their deafness to the voice of the Holy Spirit, that which they fear will come upon them.
Yet in all of this, the love of the Holy Spirit will abound and the widows and orphans will be cared for. The children will be brought in and through the children He will cause praises to be sung and shouted unto God.
In His faithfulness He will leave behind all that is necessary for overcoming the days of distress. And so maintaining love to thousands of His elect whom He has chosen. Who will also have the power to forgive wickedness, rebellion and sin, neutralizing the devil’s efforts to destroy this earth before the millennial reign of Jesus can begin.
And through the eligible church, the unwritten church, the church to whom Jesus did not have to write “Listen to the Holy Spirit” because they already are listeners of the Holy Spirit, the elect of the Holy Spirit, glory will be brought to the Father and Son in a way the world has never witnessed. The Holy Spirit will raise up the church as the Father and Son had dreamt of, a church where believers …will do what Jesus has been doing. They will do even greater things than these… (Jn 14:12) A church that are worthy of the sacrifice of the martyrs whom they will honor and glorify as they manifest the fullness of the Word of God that the martyrs died to defend with them the testimony of Jesus.
It will be a church, the church, who stayed behind made up of people who know their God. Who are able to resist the beast and his false prophet until Jesus returns. A church so powerful that the beast will have to call the kings of the earth together to fight at Armageddon.
And what else will the Holy Spirit speak?
Mt 10:26-27 … There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.
And of things that Paul heard and wrote, telling us that:
2 Cor 12:4 …He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell.
But things that the Holy Spirit is permitted to tell as He chooses, as He now speaks on His own.
As His elect who continue to faithfully agree with Him the Holy Spirit by saying “Amen Holy Spirit”. And as this agreement increases and spreads to our fellow elect in the Holy Spirit so that which the Holy Spirit is declaring on earth on His own will be witnessed by all. Both on earth and in heaven. Things so awesome that heaven is in silence for half an hour.
Amen Holy Spirit to all that you speak of your own and together with the Father and Son and holy angels and saints, we are listening.
